Hello,

I seem to be having a problem using Teamspeak 2.0 with Enemy Territory. TS works fine by itself. I can connect and talk/hear my friends fine. I can launch ET without incident also. However, 10 to 30 seconds after joining a game in ET, my computer will freeze solid and I have to perform a cold boot to use my PC again. Any ideas what I can do to fix this?

Here is some relevant info:

TeamSpeak version: 2.0.32.60

Operation System + Service packs: WinXP Pro, SP1

Soundcard + Driver versions: nVidia nForce2 APU, 6.14.366 (Dated 9.Sept.2003)

Game: Enemy Territory

DirectX Version: 9.0 Developer Runtime (Retail)

What error message do you receive?
Aside from the header, the logfile is empty.

How often does the error appear?
Every time I join a game in ET.

What did you do to resolve the problem?
I have tried different codecs. I have also tried the "wave" sound driver.

Thanks in advance!

hi

thx for reading the forum rules :)

Looking up your PC looks like a driver related thing. Several people reported problems like this when using USB devices (especially Logitech USB driver which seem to be not too good :)

Can you check if there are newer USB drivers available ?

guldi,

Thanks for replying. The only USB devices I have connected to my system are a Mitsumi USB keyboard and a Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0A. I was under the impression these devices use a generic USB driver. How would I go about updating it?
