Greetings.

Sorry to be a pain, but is it possible to run more than one client at once.

Reason being.. My admins in their infinite wisdom have created 2 servers rather than 1 (public and private) and i want to try and access them similtaniously Ive tried installing in different places but it doesnt work. im presuming the process is the same still.

I can set voice activation as a differnet key and im not bandwidth retarded so i should be able to manage both. If its possible.

If not i will have to keep trying to badger the admins in to just creating other channels and locking the clans one.

I don't know if it is possible on windows (on linux it is not).
But you will need at least two soundcards.
The problem is that you cannot have two different configs (TS stores its config in a File in your profile, and you cannot change this) if you use them as the same user.
And you will have to select the different soundcards in your config.

Maybe it works if you change the sound card in the options after every start of the client.

you neither need two soundcards nor two profiles... what you need is a client that doesn't check on currently running other ts-clients ;)

as I have a completely unchecked version I can tell you: you don't need two soundcards and even with one TeamSpeak.conf you'll get no problem ;) Still there are enough reasons for not giving an unchecked version out to the public.
Still you can get around that check by using one of the older official releases (I remember that the checking-function was updated with one of the rc2 versions, so when using a version before the update and the current then you'll be able to run both at the same time) (try 2029 or earlier)

Wouldnt the server have to be an older version as well then ?

Server is running the latest version.

Shame about that . .but I can understand why.

according my understanding yes, you would need a compatible server to this old client version. But I don't knwo which server version this would be.
