Ok, this one may be a bit long.
My ISP does not allow people to see my IP on the net. So I used Dynamic DNS to bypass that problem. I forwarded an outside port of 25 to 8767 for the program and had people connect to my DYNDNS:25 to get into the server. *just for the record the server works great for 90% of my friends* Here's the interesting part. I have a house full of friends that all connect to the net through one DSL modem with a router aswell. One of them (running WIN XP) was able to connect to me...the other (running WIN ME) was unable to connect to my server. Both are behind the same router and can both join other peoples servers. It seems that the one computer with ME on it cannot connect to my server! Any ideas?
