Linking with this thread below i do not know why i have two ip's in my server icon list thingy

http://www.teamspeak.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6655&highlight=two+IPs+are+in+my+server+list

I will provide a link of a picture when i get one uploaded properly - seem to be having uploading problems with ntl at moment :(

TGP

Why two ip's though i dont have no router???

I did have one before but this one has appeared in the last week! - Have i been attacked and someone is using this as a backdoor so to speak ???

I have configured my firewall to block all traffic from the IP i have in the list which i think is a subnet IP

IP that shouldnt be in list is: 62.255.224.7 - this has like a world sign

unlike my Server IP which is a workstation picture/symbol or w/e u call it

- your pic isn't available under the link you provide
- I assume the external IP detection is available again (sry, not sitting infront of my TS server) so you'll see your LAN IP and your WAN IP as described in the server manual.

Even if you do not have a router, with a broadband access I strongly believe you have a NAT access where you have always two IP's (WAN / LAN) !

For the first few weeks i had only 1 ip in there - it is working now - im completely confused by this, could it be becuase i installed a service or not?

It is currently being blocked by my firewall so shall i keep it blocked or allow traffic?

The reason why a few weeks ago you only had one IP is, that the external ip detection feature was down.
If you want only one IP, back go to the server.ini and set ExternalIPDetection=0.

Even if you do not have NAT, two IPs can be shown if you have two interfaces in your system.
(One network device for broadband, and one maybe unused ethernet device).

Thanks Man

This helped alot!

But shoudl i allow the traffic to flow or shall i let the firewall block all traffic out-going and in-coming from this IP add ???

Need answer Please!

Extra information - the server seems to run fine when i have the External IP blocked in my config settings for norton - and it is also blocked in my ban list for IPs in the server ban thingy
