Hi there...

I was wondering if there was any way to prevent unregistered users from connecting to your Team Speak server? Here's our situation in a nutshell:

We have an online team that uses Team Speak for communication purposes during our matches. When new players wish to join our team, we create an account for them on our Team Speak server & give them the password to access the account. On occasions where a player is rejected from the team, we delete the user's account. I thought this would be enough to prevent the user from accessing our server again...however...I have seen the user logging in using the same account...although it is now an unregistered account. I would like to be able to deny access to unregistered account users from accessing our server without having to go through the hassle of changing the server's password each time we reject a recruit to our team.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks...

K

Change the server password and keep it secret.
Create new registred users only in the web interface.
Then no one can log in as anonymous on your server.

So there is a difference between creating user accounts via the web admin interface & while connected to the Team Speak server? I had not read anything about it in the documentation that would indicate this.

The only difference is that the person does not have to be on the server if you register him via web interface (and that is what you want, I think).
That way you can keep the server password secret.
