I still have a problem running TS2 with my game (Combat Flight Simulator - the original). I fly with a number of guys, all of whom use it OK - but I just crash.

NB: It only crashes when on-line, I can run both offline together no problem.

My set-up is Win ME, SB Live (with original creative drivers), Blackice Firewall (with UDP Port 8767 released), and I fly in the Zone.

If I fire up TS2 on its own it works fine. I I fly without TS2 on, everything works fine - I can also use RW OK with the game - so all my hardware works fine.

If I fire up TS2 before firing up a game the game just freezes at the last moment before opening the ready room - no clues there.

BUT, if i fire up TS2 after I get to the ready room I get the following sequence of errors

1. Windows grey box, titled teamspeak saying "Teamspeak has casued an error in <unknown>.

clear that and i get a bigger grey box telling me

2. Titled teamspeak

Exception EReadError in module TEAMSPEAK.EXE at 00019FOF

Error reading lbBind.items.Strings : A call to an OS function failed.

clearing that gets me the good old blue screen

3 Blue screen

Normal waffle text followed by:

File name VWIN32(05) + 000012DO Error : OE : 0028 : C02A44A8

hit enter 3 times and i do return to a very frozen game, which i can Ctr/Alt/Del out of after a short wait.

Help - any clues please????

What TS version do you use?
Do you have any USB devices?
Some USB device drivers seem to make trouble with TS (Don't know if that is the case here).

Update the Windows USB drivers.
Update all drivers for your USB devices.
Disable GameVoice support in the TS Options.
Unplug as many USB devices as possible.

If the problem presists maybe post the TSClient.log in debug mode here.
To enable debug mode go to Settings -> Options -> Other -> Log Options.

I solved the problems by doing the two following things:

1. Install the KX Drivers.
2. Stop "Spybot" software from running live.

I still have all the same USB devices running etc.

The problem I now have is that my mic, which worked fine before, now does not work in anything!

i will follow a thread that is already discussing this problem.
