Login & Password Error

After I install TS server & try to login with the login & password given, it said login failed. I tried to edit server.log and change the login & password, then I try to login again, it still said login failed. What's the problem ? I uninstall the program and install it again, it works, I can login, but wake up another day, the password has been changed by itself then i search the password from server.log and try to login , it doesnt work.......weird

1. Changing the password in the server.log is of no use. In the server.log only the initial passwords are displayed (and only displayed not read by the server).
The passwords are changed in the web interface (So if you did change them in the log file in fact the old ones are still valid, but you cannot remeber them because you have overwitten them with what you think should be the new one).

2. You cannot log in with the TS client using the superadmin account. Only admin account can log in via TS client.
superadmin can only log into the web interface.

3. You don't have to reinstall the complete server to start with a new database.
Just stop the server, delete server.log, server.ini, server.dbs and start the server again. The new passwords are in the server.log.

4. Please read the server and client manual (see my signature) most of the things are described there.

I did try what u said.
I only try to login to administrative page from the TS server program.
The serious problem is even I did have typed in the RIGHT login & password. It still give me a fail login , I dont really know what's going on ?

You have tried number 3?
Make sure that you really stopped the server before.

Please post more info. Server version and the stuff requested in the forum rules.

Yes I have tried number 3.

Server version: 2.0.19.40 Win32

I found the problem already, is the firewall(Zonealarm) that blocked the access of it. Even I run the server at the same computer, it still blocked, Thank you for your time though.

im a noob and when i dowloaded ts i tryed quick connect to a server but every time it says bad password or login in so i registerd and it still says that what do i do???

i have the same problem.
I just installed Ts2 in a remote server linux.

I create the admin account in web control panel but when i try to log in with this account Ts say me Bad log in or that the User is already logged O_o

And when i log in only with nickname i always have a 1 at the last of my nick.
I type Orzobimbo and when i log my nick is Orzobimbo1.

The same problem appear with all other users!
