We played Bettlefield1942 and after 1 hour was some problem with connection and than we restarted PC and after than microphone is muted. We did not do any settings in teamspeak or in windows. Voice over net via MSN working well. All other clients are ok just my microphone is muted. Again I did not do any settings after that because im waiting for suggestion from this forum.
We reinstaled TeamSPeak and instaled again but no effect :(

Windows 2000pro fully updated with new drivers and DirectX 9.0b

Have you tried to switch between wave and directsound in the TS options?

This happened to me, I went into the TS Options or Sound Input/Output settings. There you will see a list of devices for the input and a list for output, I had to set my mic as the input device and my sound card as the output. Worked for me....

hey fellas,
i seem to be having similiar problems as well, when i double click on TS2 icon to load it up an error message instantly appears
"TDSoundIn.Open: No sound driver is available for use". Iam able to hear everyone else in the server but they cannot hear me, ive tried clicking on direct sound in the sound devices tab but that message always seems to be popping up. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

OK, I have followed this and other posts on the subject with interest - and dissappointment - as none of the suggestions seem to fix my problem.

1. I have now replaced my Creative Live drivers with the latest verion of KX drivers (At least i can now hear people!). I have Win ME, Athlon 1200, 512MB Ram.

2. My microphone appears to be working - I can hear myself with relevant level settings.

3. TS does not respond at all to my mic input, the self test mode responds to feedback i can generate when the settings are too high, but it will not respond to my voice.

Any clues?

I'm having the exact same prob as Rayster.

And yes, I tried the suggestions in the previous posts.

EDIT: Rayster. I THOUGHT I tried the "switch between wave and direct sound" option and switched "device"
Turns out I forgot to click "apply" *blushes*
Now it works perfectly though

Hey XeQtR,

Also there seems to be a red ride across my nickname in teamspeak i try to unmute but it wont let me. I have basically the same problem. I installed TS recently and hooked my mic up...which works fine with everything else...but TS says my mic is muted. It won't let me unmute it and i asked the person running the server to try to unmute me, but that didn't work either. I tried changing the settings from Wave to Direct Sound, but after I click apply the settings don't change. I haven't got any messages or errors, it just won't unmute. Any ideas? Thanks :)
