Hrm. Interesting. I have basically the same setup (at least, I have the same components as you've listed), and I've no problems connecting and disconnecting with multiple servers. Additional info might be of help...type of connection (wireless? rj45--std. ethernet, etc.), are you behind a firewall?, g-card, etc.

The only thing I can suggest at this point is that you be sure all of your drivers are up-to-date (don't just rely on Windows Update to handle this for you, go out and grab the files directly from the manufacturer's websites).

The problem can be USB devices.

1. make sure that you have the latest windows usb drivers.
2. make sure that you have the latest drivers for all your USB devices.
3. try to run TS with as many USB devices unplugged as possible.
4. Disable GameVoice support in the TS options.

Have you updated your WinXP (via windows update)?
Does the USB modem have seperate USB drivers with it?
If yes upgrade them (if possible).

You cannot update an USB 1.0 port to USB 2.0 (if that is what you meant).

USB problems were just a guess. There a many other possible causes. Other hardware problems or a software incompatibility.

One here reported that he could only run TS with max 2 RAM modules in his board. All other things worked with 3 modules.
It can also be a power supply instability. The error possibilities are countless. So you will have to do a bit of research yourself.
The info you gave is not enough to give you a specific hint.
