Problem..number 1 added to everyones name

how do i get that information?

its the newest version of the Server...and im pretty sure the newest version of the client.

Everytime some one tries to log in the server adds a 1 to the end of their name...and i have no idea how to get rid of it.

The version of the client is in the Help -> About dialog.
The version of the server is printed in the server.log on startup. The server version is also show in the right side of the client window when you connect to it.
Do you mean Gues1, Guest2, ... or do they use their own nicknames like hubba and then the server makes a hubba1 out of it?
Does it happen only with unregistred users or with reigstred users also?

yea its their names...like you said Hubba1 and stuff like that

im the only registered member and it takes numbers away from me...i dont know why.

I hope 2.0.19.40 is your server version and not your cient version.
If it is your client version upgrade, because it would be very old (2.0.32.60 is tha actual one).
You should also upgrade the server in that case because client 2.0.19.40 (if such a version ever existed) is not compatible with the actual official server (which is version 2.0.19.40).

Did you check "Let the server assign a nickname" in the connection Dialog when you connect as anonymous?
If yes try it without that option.
Also check the server.log for any warnings or errors.

yes that # is the TS client version...i had no idea it was so old!! holy crap!

the TS version is actually 2.0.29.47

do i need to uninstall and reinstall?

In the TS client choose Connedtion -> Connect and there you are.

You should read the client manual that is linked in my signature if you don't know where the connection dialog is.

i found it...but it wasnt checked at it still adds 1's..

They must be logging in as guests or something and the server is assigning a name to them?

they are logging in under anonymous i have not granted the ability to register to anyone.

Weird thing is there are a few people who get through with out the one added...and everyone has the newest client version.
