My friend, after convincing him to get TS after it got annoying holding a phone while playing Warcraft 3, He got down a mic and plugged it in, after setting it up, we checked that the mic worked by un-muting the mic control in audio control panel, he talked into the mic and it came out the speakers, then we muted it, went to teamspeak, had him join the server we were on and he tried to talk, nothing came out, yet we knew that the mic worked, so we went to Settings->Options, messed around with all the combinations, we tried wave, direct sound and changed the input device, turned up the ouput volume and made sure that the mic was plugged into the right jack, sure enough, in the correct jack, tried the compatibility option, still nothing, then we went off the play a video game and his dad tried some different things, when I was talking to him on the phone, I heard his dad talking through the speakers, but faintly, I am 100% sure that it was not through the phone and asked him to speak again, then I hear this sharp 'beaconing' sound. In addtion, we could not get any sound out of the speakers when we did the local test mode.

Finally, done with the story, can ANYone help me?? Tried searching the forums, way too much that I could go though...

If anyone has resolved/experienced any of these problems please post.
Any help is greatly appreciated! ThXx :D
