View Full Version : How can I actually SET which key I want to use as Push to Talk?
The problem that I have is that I want to use "Space" as my PTT key. I go to Settings, Input Output Devices, press the Set button, and then I press the space bar. The text above the Set button changes to "Space", but the message "Press a Key" stays on screen. When I try to exit the procedure, to save my selection, the program will not allow me. If I press the mouse button on the "Close" button, the text above the Set button changes to "Mouse Click Left". No key allows me to exit that area whithout making itself the PTT key.
How can I select the space key and exit?
Thank you.

it is not currently possible to set [space], or [enter] or [return] (if your keyboard still has a key labeled as such) to speak
when you hit space it hits the 'set key' button again. a loop.
could be worked around if they trap the first keyboard message and dont pass it on to the window. (note, this is not currently done. ask a developer to implement it for you)
edit : sorry if i come across as telling you how to do your job, dev's.
