Permissons problem

I've ssh to my friend Linux server , type ./tss.minimal_startscript start on tss2_rc2 directory , its said permisson denied .

Is it need ask my friend set permisson for me to start TS2 server ?

most probably you aren't allowed to +x the server-binary... so yes, your friend could use chown to fix the problem ;)
