I searched the forums and found a few answers, unfortunately, they didn't work for me.

I just switched from a linksys router to a d-link DI-514 because we needed to get a wireless AP, but they all seem to have routers too.

I had the teamspeak server running before. i know about port forwarding and had it set up in the linksys. I followed the directions to forward ports with the d-link (virtual server), but it just won't work. I have it set up to forward port 8767 UDP (tried TCP and both too) public and private. I enabled it and put in my ip which is 192.168.0.100. And schedule "always." And hit apply. No Dice.

My brother has the exact same router and he is having the same problem. Can anyone help? Thanks!

First of all, D-Link sucks. I invested over 500 Euro in D-Link Router, Access Points and Wireless cards and i've been having only problems with it. The firmware is crappy, the access points crash every 3 to 4 days and the router's auto-sensing "capability" can't be disabled and is wreaking havoc with the LAN. I recommend you return the router as long as you can get your money back and get some Netgear stuff.

If you don't want to:
You'll probably need to enter your server as DMZ host. I have a DI-604 and i have the same problem. It seems there's more than Port 8767 involved.

And please, post on the appropriate board. This one would best be moved to [English] Windoze Server

Thanks for answering my question even tough I was a moron and posted in the wrong forum on my 1st post ;)

I got rid of that piece of crap and got a netgear and all is well.

So it's D-link that shite, and my Sitecom refused to work as well, what other routers are abolutely impossible to get TS working on.

On the bright side, my Linksys (work) and my Draytek (home) are nothing less than brilliant for this

My brother has a SMC 7004 router and it works smoothly as well. A fellow student (i'm surprised there's only a paraphrase for "Kommilitone") is using a Netgear WG602 wireless router and he says it works without problems as well. Both occasionally run TS servers to talk with family over the internet.

I have the DI-604 and I've never had any probs. In fact it worked way better than my linksys.

It depends on the hardware version of the DI-604. The D version has all these problems, the B1 and B2 versions don't, but those have a cooling problem.
