Voices cut and chop when the game is started. We've tried everything for change codecs to turning on real-time rather than normal.

Same thing.

Some members also could not speak at all though they could hear.

We've gone back to 1.5 at least until a patch comes out for 2.

We have two members that lock up and time out in TS 2.0 with Army Operations. This does not happen to them in other games.

My friends and I use Teamspeak with no problems on this game. Make sure you have WAV selected instead of Direct sound in the options menu.. could help ...

Works for me with the current AA version

Im using WINXP and a SBliveValue sound card.

To get it to work though I had to update to a developer release. You can find these updates in the developer release section here http://www.teamspeak.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=56

I have the same problem with UT2003.

Since UT 2003 and Americas Army use the same gaming engine there may be some software issues here...

I get the same choppy voice sounds.....

Please read my post [ts2.0] [UT 2003] [WINXP] for details on hardware specs and codecs used..

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

PS: I am going to try the developer releases!

Hey Guys,

Check it out, It's working! The latest downloads have worked great in small trials on our clan Red Cell www.aaoredcell.com's game/TS1/TS2 server.

There might be a few more things to be smoothed, but it is working nice overall:D :D :D No choppy voices in the army game now WOOHOO!

(Good Job Devs!)
By the way, clan members who never tried TS2 with us a long time ago were blown away by the sound quality of the GSM 16.4 codec! It added another bit of realism to the game :)

I get no problems while I am running Americas Army.

For me it runs perfect like in all of my other games.:D
