I've been using (the V word) Ventrilo for a while now. I'm thinking about switching to TS. Can someone give me the low down on the amount of bandwidth and packets sent used for the speex codecs vs. the GSM codecs used in Ventrilo...
Last month my Ventrilo server hosted on my 1 meg DSL line used 10.4 GIGS of bandwidth. :eek: :eek: :eek:
This is fastly approaching my limit. :mad: I know I can change the codec in Ventrilo, but seeing as how TS uses speex and is much more feature rich than Ventrilo I'd like a little more info so that I know what to expect for which codec's that I use.
Yes I did a search and found SOME info, but it didn't quite answer my quiestion TIA!
