On-board (asus) C-Media 8738 stuttering

I'm having choppiness with the program using Battlefield 1942 demo. Outside of the game there is no problems.

I fixed it. The way I fixed it was by going to Settings - Options - Sound Devices then setting the sound device to use Wave instead of Direct Sound.

i got some weird noice like there is a snowsled wondering arround..going forward and backward ....

when i changed the BF 1942 game sound settings to hardware acceleration the noice was gone and aslo went to wave on TS
