I have a friend who are having problems installing TS
on his Windows XP machine. When he gets the installation
to 100% he gets this error:

Error creating registry key:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\teamspeak
RegCreateKeyEx failed; code 5.
Denied access.
Click Retry to try again, Ignore to proceed anyway, or Abort to cancel installation.

anyone encountered this ?
anyone know how to work around this problem ?

Admin status is my guess
since he hasnt had any other problems installing other software

and the computer is his :)

hmm stll sounds like

1: He has not enoug rights
2: Corrupted Registry.

I had the same problem once with my videocard drivers. After i crahsed hard i was unable to delete my video drivers registry settings, while i was an admin.

(man i love linux, just delete the damned file, after fschk )
