View Full Version : why can't people connect?¿?
I just dl the server TS and have no idea why its not working. I am behind a router and have opened all the right port 8767(or I think I have). My roommate has already connected to my server without any difficulty (both on the lan lan and outside). However, all my other friends receive the message,
"[19:26:17}No reply from server. Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak isn't running it." (in red)
How can I fix this?
Well Fick, it seems you'd have to open the whole ephemeral UDP port range at least and forward it to your TS machine.
dude go to your router ext port 8767 int port 8767 make it enable doh lol and enter the ip of ur pc example
192.168.1.1 thats router access for me i dont know for you what it is but look my ip on my pc is 192.168.1.2 other pc on my house is 192.168.1.3
ok when you at port forwarding youll see lots of stuff like ftp, http telnet .etc go all the way down where you see blank box at left type what ever you want there well type ts youll see ext port and int port type on both 8767 and where it say 192.168.1.0
type the number of your ip example i open the port like this
ts 8767 both boxes check 8767 192.168.1.2 enable check
so i dont know whats your ip of your pc so i hope this helps if not post it here what you need help with.

"port forwarding" "firewall"
that are the keywords you have to look (=> search). There are more then enough threads in this forum and also some nots in the server manual.
