What is the best way to use a microphone and speakers? I am using my mic from my monitor and a set of speakers attached to my sound card. I can hear some people ok, but while in Battlefield I cant hear the sounds too well. Hard to find a balance of gameplay with voices. What suggestions do you have??

Here's my big idea..... buy these things called sony street style headphones and then put them on your head and then you will hear these sounds and it will work better and then buy a labtec microphone for 10$ from either best buy or circuit city and use that microphone since you dont want to kiss your monitor everytime you need to say something to your buddies thats my suggestion you dont use speakers speakers are for music not gameplay hehehe or at least thats how i feel a headset is also a good idea but I prefer the sony cause its quality
