We just upgraded to the latest Linux server (2.0.19.51) and our bandwidth has about tripled!
Changes on the new server:
TS software upgrade.
server is now in public mode, not clan mode
Every channel on the new server has long descriptions
124 Channels (old server had 320)
fresh MySQL database (everyone reregistered through web interface)
lowered codecs (from 14.8 to 12.3 and less on some channels)
We have, on average, 150 players on it at any given time. We used to do about a gigabyte a day when we were using 14.2kbit codecs. Now, with the server upgrade and the redesign, we use about 3 GB/day. Anyone know what could be going on?
