I have been running a windows Teamspeak server for years.

I want to run a Linux TS server.

The problem is that with about 160 members I need to post the database over to the new server.

Current server has been a production server almost 4 years 24/7 with only about 2 days off (48 hours) for parts replacement as needed. (Only been TS server for about 2.5 years)

I have a newer 1GHz system that is my linux box that I want to make the new TS server for our group.

I did the install and everything went great (I thought). After I tried to port the server.dbs now can not connect to the TS server???

Any help would be apreciated

Yes it can, but older versions dbs files need to be converted. There is info about this in the readme with the tarball.

Got it working...

For some reason The other two (2) times I tried it didn't work but the last time I tried it worked fine.

My current Windows TS2 server database wouldn't work for some reason, but I wiped the Linux TS2-RC2 off again and did the SAME copy of:

server.ini
server.dbs
server.log

to the linux box and worked. I guess third time is a charm :p

This makes thing sooooo much better than manually adding the 160 members and all the channels
