Sound muted?

Just installed this TeamSpeak server but it seems all channels are muted.

I tested a linux client myself and a brother a windows client but we were both set to muted and I could not find any indication as how to change this.

What part of the manual did I miss?

Try in the client, "settings". > "options" toggel between wave and direct sound

How does that translate in linux client terms?
