MUTE problem

Hello, i have problem with teamspeak client uder linux. Always i logged in some server i have microphone muted & speaker/headphone
muted, so i can't talk with anybobody and i can't unmuted. But my soundcard works perfectly, my mic works perfectly, my headphone too. I have rights to /dev/dsp and none aplications blocks dsp device. Please can anybody help me ???

I had the same problem. Just fixed it.
Before starting teamspeak quit all applications using the sound card. I don't know if this is a general problem, but on my computer I can't run xmms & armagetron the same time without losing xserver when quitting armagetron. For me it's not possible to run two "sound aplicatons" the same time.
Disabled the the full-duplex option in control-center -> sound&multimedia -> sound-system -> sound in/output.
The next step is to deactivate the realtime option and the timeout option in control-center -> sound&multimedia -> sound-system -> aRTs (in my case).
After you've deactivated those two options and applied your changes, activate the realtime and timeout option and apply changes again.
Sometimes it doesn't work to give the procedure only one try ;)
Last I did when teamspeak did not work at all was to kill the knotify process. Killing knotify is no problem, if it does not start again by itself, it starts when starting xmms. I do not miss it.
Don't know why, but this procedure seems to have effect.

I close all aplications (except X-window), but problem still remains. :(((

I don't use KDE, but fluxbox. So i don't have control center ... etc.
