hi guys,

just wondering if anyone can help me find out how to speak online (instead of typing) whilst playing games with your mates. Any info on how to get the software, are their any charges while using it and how good it is.

Cheers

Do you ask "Is this a bakery?" when you enter a bakery as well? :D
You just found one of the best (or least worst, depending on your point of view regarding closed source software) voice communication tools in existence.

I've got a usb Plantronics dsp-400 and it really works very well

Also tried cheaper stuff, the typical 10-20 euro trash, but you'll will always regret that you buoght those

any mic is fine. Even if you plug some cheap headphones into the microphone jack and turn on the +20dB boost it will still work, the main restriction is bandwidth

I just recently got a Plantronics DSP-400 in order to use Teamspeak while playing Battlefield 1942 online....but I get a loud squeal in my headset during the game....would you happen to know if anyone else has run into such a problem with this headset and game?....thanks

Nope, have the same headset and play a lot of BF too,

Only thing I can think of is to fiddel with microphone boost in Windows sound screen
