foreground option

Is there a way to keep TS in the foreground? I use daemon tools (http://cr.yp.to/daemontools.html) to supervise my services. The way it works is it starts the program and monitors its activity. When a daemon is put into the background, it can not monitor it and thinks it's not running. It, then, tries to start another instance... and another... until my system has so many TS servers running, it runs out of resources.
