I installed the Jabra BT200 Bluetooth headset on my laptop and it works fine with all my apps except TS - TS even works when only using the mic to record - as soon as I go into TS options and change output to Bluetooth audio the audio goes all stuttery - I've tried every audio option I can find in TS - ideas??

Can you hear other sounds in windows through the headset OK?

I have made a little guide for some friends of mine who were interested in using their headsets on TS, it might help you out with your headset.

Northern Monkey Bluetooth Headset guide. (http://www.northern-monkey.co.uk/bt250/jabra250ts.htm)

Let me know if it helps.

I tried this, but I'm having the same problem as Jroe with a Jabra BT250.
The received sound is OK.

is the headset a usb head set ? update your motherboard drivers , most likely your usb driver is out dated

OK, I guess some clarification is needed:
The headset has NO WIRES.
The connection between the headset and the computer uses the Bluetooth wireless digital communications system.
The PC has a USB adapter that serves as the PC's bluetooth transceiver (Hang on, you can't blame this yet).
TS Received sound is fine (confirmed on a live connection).
TS Transmitted sound "stutters" (confirmed on a live connection and local test).
Sound recorded on another application is fine (This is why I said don't blame the USB).

I'm wondering if it has to do with the input level from the mic, but I can find no way to adjust it - The slider in the properties is set at around 2/3 to 3/4, but is fixed and not moveable.

That said, I will go forth and try updating the USB drivers, but I don't hold out much hope for success.

EDIT: There's no USB update for my MB ( MSI k7N2 Delta ) and XP, but I did the drivers update that was available. Problem still there.

Just recorded fine in creative wave studio. The level was a bit low, though, so my "slider" comment above may not be a problem.

New info:
Northern Monkey, you mention Widcomm Bluetooth Software 1.4.2 build 10.
My software is "Bluetooth Software 1.4.1 build 7"

I did manage to get hold of Widcomm Bluetooth Software 1.4.2 build 10, but it wouldn't work - something about the wrong license. I tried the license.dat file from 1.4.1.7, but it wouldn't accept it.

My USB adapter is a Newlink NLUSBBT-100.

As I'm talking to myself (literally - in Teamspeak's test mode) I found somewhat of a solution:
http://www.jonsguides.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=174#174
These 2 files from Shonk kind of fixed the problem. They install version 3 of the widcomm software.

READ ALL THE THREAD FIRST - YOU COULD WRECK YOUR SETUP IF YOU DON'T

Instead of choppy audio, I now have clear audio with some background noise.

a driver is the software interface between the hardware and the program , if it is not up to date it will not work , or may not work as good as it should , becuse you got the mic to work with another app does not mean the driver will work with ts , hence go look for driver updates usb , motherboard any and all lol

I'm using the D-Link USB DBT-120 Bluetooth adapter w/ Jabra BT250, WinXP Pro.

I got the driver installed for the adapter, got it to discover the Jabra BT250

I cannot get the Bluetooth audio to show up in the sound /audio settings in Control Panel or in TeamSpeak settings.

Any ideas?

You probably need to set up the audio gateway profile on the bluetooth setup.

hrm, audio gateway profile
Can you elaborate on that I'm not sure where or what that is.
when I installed the USB Bluetooth adapter it just installed the drivers and the software that comes up from the Control Panel (lets me add devices, COM in and out ports)
I'm thinking about returning the D-Link adapter and getting a different type. I had to call their tech support at first because I couldn't get the headset discovered, they told me the driver that came with it was bugged and to download a newer one from website --that's ok-- but now I'm having problems with the Bluetooth icon in the taskbar not working, it discovers sometimes, not all the time. Yes, when I uninstalled the old driver and software I rebooted before installing new stuff.

Thanks for the reply

Just got it working, works great.
On Jabras website they have a blurb in support about the default drivers that come with SP2 for WinXP installing by default and not working.
I went to Microsoft support and did search on "bluetooth driver update", under the various topics that came up I found the answer under "Cannot install a Bluetooth device after you install Windows XP Service Pack 2"

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;840635

I used the WORKAROUND Method 1 listed under that topic:

1. Click Start, click Run, type %windir%\inf in the Open box, and then click OK.
2. Right-click Bth.inf, and then click Rename.
3. Rename Bth.inf to Bth.bak, and then press ENTER.
4. Install the third-party Bluetooth driver.

On number 4. I used Device Manager and updated the driver for bluetooth radio device (WinXP deafault device) using the Linksys CD and pointing the updater to it.

Everything works great now.

With what models of bluetooth headsets do you get stereo? I've heard that a lot of these headsets go into mono when using the mic - ok for phones, but not so much for games w/ teamspeak.
