my friends cant connect to server

my friends try to connect to my server and they say they cant i try everything can someone help me to solve this problem

This is the worst question. There can be a million reasons why someone cannot connect. An error or description of problem would be helpful.

There is also a search feature on the site that is much of help. And it works very well.
