Atm running the latest server version on a WinXPpro system.

Connections from outside trough my ADSL modem/router constandly (1 time a day) changing ports.

Short set, gotha inform those who want to connect with the new port numbers each time.

Logged onto the NAT i have set udp relay trough correct ports, however TS just finds its own port to use, and happends every day.

Tryed commandline and wizzies to adjust the routings for the NAT but somehow those darn outside ports keep jumping.

Anyone known with this problem?

the port changes ? What starnge TS server did you download ?

Or do you simply mix the port with the IP (if so, you better read this one: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0764517600/qid=1081456758/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/102-0507636-6877765?v=glance&s=books
and/or ask your ISP for a fix IP or do a search for dyndns ([url]www.dyndns.org).

I adjusted my routing table all outside ipz on pre-defined port to internal ip to the TS server using its regular port 8767.

ServerUDPPort: 8767
ServerId: 1
ServerVersion: 2.0.20.1

After adjusting the table i list up the routing list and notice that all outside ipz are directed by another port towards the TS server

Using an old Alcatel Speedtouch Home tweaked to Pro.

All tcp relayes work fine, its the udp that keeps jumping.

Latest adjustment done trough telnet into the NAT from modem

create protocol=udp inside_addr=10.0.0.150:8767 outside_addr=0.0.0.0:9999 (about the same ;) )

Next ofcourse "save".

Starting TS server and notice the inside adress using the right port, but the outside adress using example port 11000

Next morning its off to work, when i get back ofcourse no one left in TS, no one able to connect. Check routing table and notice outside adress using 12000 (all examples)

Iam not unknown with tcp/ip and networking, but i cant figur this one out. Outside adresses connecting to the defind outside address shout relay to the inside adress but it just fails to do so.

Starting to think the modem is just..... ******.
