i just bought a server its a windows 2000 server and im trying to install it through FTP is that posable?

you can upload the files trough ftp but to start ts you'll need a shell account on this server.

That means in order to set a 2K Server up you should actually sit in front of it.

If you don't know what a Shell Account is, best IMHO would actually be to get somebody that has done it before or even bother and read the manual. Setting up a 2K server is kinda easy if you have done setups before but it is certainly different from Win98 .

Wasn't 2K pre-installed ? Usually if you spend that much money on a OS it is installed already ... well as far as I know.
