I read through the searches (install & DI-604), followed instructions, but can't connect to server.

I installed TS server 2.0.20.1 (port 8767).

Dlink-604
Opened UDP port 8767
Opened TCP port 14534
Opened TCP port 51234

WAN ip is 24.17.136.192

I can see the server in the webserver list, but no one can connect it. I can ping it as well.

Can anyone offer assistance? I will track post or you can contact me on:

I installed teamspeak client on the cpu hosting the server and connected to the server ok with internal ip.

I can not connect to the internal ip from other cpus on the network & no one can connect to the external ip 24.17.136.192:8767.

Dlink tech support said I have done everything on their end. :(

Well, I think there's nothing else you can do but either forward the complete unprivileged UDP range or enter the Computer running the TS Server as DMZ host.

Enter the Computer running the TS Server as DMZ hostIf I do this...don't I open the computer wide up for attack?

Also...I enabled dmz on the cpu hosting TS. I was able to connect from that cpu, but still could not connect to TS from any other cpu on the network or friends couldn't externally.

yeah your log shows good things but question to you are you forwarding those ports to the correct private ip 192.168.0.100 192.168.0.101 192.168.0.102 192.168.0.103 192.168.0.104 start your server and then right click the icon and go to my ips and see which one it is make sure thats the one u entered to forward those ports also are you running the windows xp firewall or have another firewall running?

I uninstalled my PC-Cillen from the cpu and it worked. Even though I had PC-Cillen shut down, it would not let the traffic through. I had the same problem when I tried to set my office network up, so I gave it a shot and deleted it.

WHEW......

How do you set-up a server from the Teamspeak windows server download? I have it running, but my freinds cannot log on. Is there a set of instructions or any technical support? I looked, but it said no e-mail no phone, only this chat section. Please help.

I just installed the server, opened port 8767 (UDP) in my DI-804 router and everything works just fine. I can connect via my dyndns name (externally) and people from the outside can also connect without any problems.

Since I've got an older D-Link, which is working, it would seem strange that D-Link made changes in newer versions that would cause problems with the Teamspeak server. So maybe the problem lies somewhere else.

Does other "NAT-services" work (FTP, www etc)?
Are you sure that there is no other firewall outside of yours (some ISPs do have that)?

d-link has one of the easiest interfaces for opening ports on the virtual server and it still is easy on the newer versions it all depends on the extent of your knowledge in routing stuff :D

If you're talking about the TS manuals, they're on the FAQ board.

The manual for the D-Link DI-604 Rev. E that you most likely have can be found here (http://support.dlink.com/products/view.asp?productid=DI%2D604%5FrevE)

BTW, a quick search on the dlink homepage and you would've found it yourself...
