I was wondering if you can ban ip ranges, because these hackers keep changing the last couple numbers on there ip and i was wondering how to ban there ranges.

Uh.. i don't think you can yet... Can you?

But anyway... just turn off ur server for a minute, then put a password on it. IF you don't wanna do that, then just restart your internet to change ur ip. Then they can't find it. :) And make sure you don't open the port to show it in the server list.

try this...

set the IP ban address to X.X.0.0 in the ip ban range.

X.X. = the known ip address numbers.
now this is a local ip address used in the following example;
Bad person gets banned from 192.168.67.84
Bad person gets banned from 192.168.67.95
Bad person gets banned from 192.168.67.254
or
Bad person gets banned from 192.168.111.111
Bad person gets banned from 192.168.254.234

banning this ip address 192.168.0.0 should in theory work.

Dont know though.

I think I've read something about the asterisk wildcard here in the forum.
192.168.0.* would therefore deny access to everybody within 192.168.0.0/24

Ya probably. So i would just change your IP address or something. And make your server private so no spammers come in. :)

I mean hackers*
