I'm having problems to TeamSpeak co-operate with my Logitech Premium Stereo USB Headset. I'm running Fedora Core 1 with a 2.6.5 kernel with ALSA and usb-sound compiled to the kernel. Sounds play normally when I kill artsd or run games with artsdsp game executable, so the basics are working. cat /dev/urandom > /dev/dsp produces white noice on the headset.
The problem is to run TeamSpeak with sound output/input with those games. When I try to run TeamSpeak with artsdsp it disables the microphone. I have no idea why. So is there a similar way as described in the TeamSpeak 2 HOWTO (http://www.linux-gamers.net/modules/wfsection/article.php?articleid=34) to disable sound input from certain executables? It works for sound cards but how about USB-devices?
echo "quake3.bin 0 0 direct">/proc/asound/card0/pcm1p/oss
Anyone has succesfully got TeamSpeak work with games and USB headset?
