Sound..Laggy? CHoppy? ACK

Greetings and Salutations, I have recently set up a new Teamspeak server for my clan on L2. and everyone is ina nd its running fine, Hey they can even here me Fine, but the sound I get is Laggy.

Ex: Instead of Hello there I hear He (pause) L (pause) L (pause)
O th (pause) e (pause) E (pause) E (pause) rrrr

I have checked Mic and headset on another system they are functioning properly...the server is functioning properly for all others involved. I even have others in the house that are functioning correctly with the connection. It is me and me alone that seems to be unable to understand anything being said due to...Lag *shrugs*

if I minimize L2 down to the Taskbar suddenly my sound is clear...it is only when I am actively in game.


Also note, I am Blonde, and NOT computer Savy, I need Idiot proof directions to solve my issue, can anyone help me?

hi i run teamspeak in L2 as well i am assuming you have minimised TS when running L2 as i had problem when it was up on the screen.
also how much memory do you have try setting TS to a low priority setting in task manager that way it will use less resource make sure that you codec is set up correctly as well i find speex 25.9 works best.
another thing is to test your microphone pick up is set correctly if its to high you will get a stuttered effect.
