This seems to be the topic of alot of peoples problems.

After digging for several hours I found a post that fixed my problem. Can't explain how or why but here goes.

This seems to be an issue in Windows XP service pack 1 home and pro ... but I would give it a shot on other OS's too.

Have the person that times out when they try to connect do this.
1. Close TeamSpeak
2. Locate TS Shortcut.
3. Right click on TS Shortcut. icon, go to properties
4. Under the "Shortcut" Tab in the Target line.. you will see the path to where the team speak exe is located..
example..
"C:\Program Files\teamspeak2_RC2\TeamSpeak.exe"
with the " " included...
ok.

This is all you have to do. put a space then -d after that. it should go OUTSIDE of the " " so it will look like this

"C:\Program Files\teamspeak2_RC2\TeamSpeak.exe" -d

For some strange reason this fixes the problem.... I believe the
-d is for diagnostics mode but I could be wrong. It has worked flawlessly for 1 1/2weeks now and I have not noticed any performance degregation. And once again my friend and my laptop can connect to the TS server again.

Hope this helps you out,
Ill try to post this in the connection time out posts that look the same as so others can find this answer easier.
