TeamSpeak on Linux RedHat 9.0

Has anyone tried TeamSpeak on Linux Redhat 9.0. In my situation, I could bring the application up and sign on to a server etc. But I am not able to get the microphone and the head phone out of the mute. I tried many different options and combinations but no luck. Any help will be appreciated. Thx, Arv.

did you try alsa with oss support? (teamspeak still uses the old oss structures, so you'll need them in your kernel)

No this is a new RedHat 9.0 installation. The headphone and microphone works fine as I have tried to record and play back.
I guess I should try the ALSA drivers and give it a try.
