View Full Version : teamspeak server help ! ?

help , i have set up an teamspeak server and i have found it in the web-server list. as a publik chanel. it names "[NBL]" if you want to have a look. when i try to connect it says : [10:59:28]
Connecting to 80.201.166.17:8767[10:59:31]
No reply from server
Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it


these are my Server Settings

and when i look to teamspeak server admin... it saz that the server is running. i can only push a stop buton thats green and there is no start buton. and teamspeak is runing on it to. becouse it was made by teamspeak server (win). what could be my broblim ?

from inside the LAN, ONLY use the LAN IP !
=> no connection inside your LAN over the Weblist as this uses your WAN IP

Im having the same problem as Jimstukken, i only have 2 IPs to choose form and 1 works for me but nobody else can join...the IP that works for me is my computers IP...i dont know how to make it so my clan members can get in :(

You join from your computer ip the rest join from your router ip. Goto www.whatismyip.com and this is the one they need to join to.

you aslo have to make sure that your www access device allows conenction to your LAN server (usually called port forwarding => see FAQ "no reply")

Thanks, but how do i change the actual server IP...i cheched the SuperAdmin Webadmin site and i cant change it there...and i cant seen to change it anywhere when im in the server...does anyone know how?

Why would you do that ? TS doesn't give you an IP, TS simply uses the IP('s) your server PC has. You can only tell the TS server if he should only use one specific IP (if your server PC has more then one) => look for boundtoIP (lot's of threads with that in the forum)

The IP's you either get from your ISP or you configure them in your router (DHCP) or Server PC.

umm i am having the same prob and i tryed www.whatismyip.com and my friends can't get on with that ip eather

edit::: sorry for mis posting i am running on TS 2 not 1 but i am still having the same prob could someone plz redirect me to the right place ty
