I can host my server fine, but im the only one who can join it. Its confusing, because of my 2 ip's (which are different) I can use quick connect to join with one IP, but when I try to detect my server, it uses the other IP. Noone can join my server using either IP, it says No reply from server
Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it
"

help would be greatly appreciated

where exatly? Im not to good at this stuff... sorry, but Ill try

is server.ini a text file?

cuz I cant find that on my comp... and when I do, where do I put the IP

Could I also have to do some of that tedios "port forwarding"? Because I really do not wish to do that...

the server.ini could be edited with a text editor. Just add in the line beginning with:

BoundToIp1=

your ip. then it looks like that

BoundToIp1=127.0.0.1

The ip i entered is just an example. You have to enter you static ip.

LOL
if you have a broadband access wich are usually NAT'ed you have to do a port forwarding, if you wish it or not.
It's a server your playing with, not a doll ;)

Normally a binding to IP is not necessary unless you have more then one IP interface in your TS server. So my guess is your simply missing the port forwarding (or a firewall is blocking the WAN connection).

PS: WAN players will never be able to join by your LAN IP => they have to use the WAN IP, LAN IP is only for clients within your own LAN

wheres the server.ini file?

in the Server Directory. It might only look like "server" since you have chosen not to show extensions of known file types.

In the File Explorer click Tools -> Folderoptions -> View

and then scroll to Hide File extensions for known file types and remove the tick

What happens if your IP changes every time you connect to internet? Do i need to keep putting in the IP again into the ini?
