Server Help!!!!!!

I downloaded the server on to my comp and made a short cut, but it downst work, shows a quik window with the name, and then it goes away and does nothing, how do i get my server running??????

before every one virtually slaps you, read the server manual !

What you describe is absolutly normal so there is absolutly no need to fill in a support request.

What means "does nothing" ? We can not mind read so give us more details and read the forum rules !

So, i did read the manual. I installed it just as it said, made a desk top icon, and then clicked on the server icon of TS. Now like i said, i clecked on the file, i window poped up with the TS logo, and then it disapears, did i install it wrong? :confused:

don't you have such a nice icon in your system tray as it is described in the manual under "starting of the server" ?
This icon will show you further options to configure your server.

NEVERMIND, ALL U HAD TO SAY is that u cant hook up the server from a routed comp, gheezzzzz.

Of course your server will be down when turning off the computer it runs on. What else would you expect ?
