ok my network set up is as follows:

1 x Server

P4 1.4ghz
1024mb RAM
2 x 100mbps Linksys Network cards

2 x Workstations

AMD Athlon XP 2800+ and 2100+
1024mb RAM
ASUS A7N8X mobos w/ build in LAN

The Problem:

When I host a BF1942 dedicated server on the server alongside Teamspeak Server (latest version btw)...

The TeamSpeak server boots everyone off after about 5 minutes...then when anyone tries to reconnect, they are greeted with 'error could not connect to server' after a swift close --> restart peeps can reconnect no problems, then after 5 mins bam, disconned again...including outsiders (not on the LAN)

Now then, if I host the BF1942 server on my workstation, with the teamspeak server on the server, everything is fine (apart from me losing 50fps hosting the server :( )...

Anyone know why this is happening?

I have the amount of bandwidth that each app is using set to relative amounts...BF1942 is set to use 128kbps of bandwidth, TS is set to use 128kbps of bandwidth...

EDIT:

Oh ya, forgot to mention, port forwarding and my firewalls are all set up correctly...ive searched the forum for solutions...there is no solution to this problem

all OSs are Windows XP...

TeamSpeak is VERY sensitive to dropped packets. I would try putting the clients in debug mode to see if this resolves the issue. Also, what codec are you using in your TeamSpeak channel?

p.s. The reason you probably have not yet received an answer to this thread is because the title of your message is not at all pertinent to your issue and this problem has been addressed numerous times in these forums.
