Okay i dont know much because my friend told me to get TS for MOHAA anyways, i downloaded it and set it up. As Soon as i click on the icon on my desktop. BAM
Microsofts little dam fangled error report box pops up reading:
The Teamspeak 2 Client has encountered a problem and needs to close.
My XP is the msdn version with xp sp1 added afterwards.
umm it also reads in the data side of things:

AppName: teamspeak.exe AppVer: 2.0.32.60 ModName: kernel32.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.1106 Offset: 00013887

anyhoo if anyone can help me get past this itd be great, meanwhile im gunna try SFC /SCANNOW.
Thank you
Stuart

Even though you have applied SP1 have you also applied the latest Updates to XP ?

Also try to run TS in Compabilitymode and see if that helps.

I had the 5.1 Live Player for ages and never any Problems since TS1. Also I doubt that the kernl32.dll would have anything to do with it.

So I would suggest you start Windows in Safe Mode and see if TS works and you still get the error.

My guess is that there is some other Software that is interfering. You may as well try to shut down all not needed Programs before trying it.

And I apologise for even thinking that YOUR XP could not be up to date..

haven't you set any recovery points ? It might just be in conjunction with some other stuff you installed.

So try going back before reinstalling everything.
