It's probably been suggested a million times, but this is the one issue i've been waiting for myself. The ability to connect to multiple TS servers at once and the ability to switch between them.

I stay in contact with several clans which all reside on their own Teamspeak server. This could rule out any need for me to use IRC and I don't like using that because I have a bad case of RSI.

Is this possible?

1) as you wrote, this has been discussed many times, so why should "we" answerd it again and again ?

2) As far as I know there is no official way for doing this at the moment. If I remember right, there was once an unofficial client which allowed to have more then one open client at the same time. As I understand it, the DEV's do not wanted to spred this one out (for what ever reason). You could do a search for it, but I doubt you'll find it.

i dont know if this will work but try to load a second copy of t-s to your hard drive with a diferant location then the default location of "C:\Program Files\Teamspeak2_RC2\TeamSpeak.exe" enless there are mic/speaker issuse running 2 it may work , but you will most like confuss the peps in each server when you are talking to 1 person who is not in the other server ??? , repost if it works or not i dont need 2 so i am not going to try it !!! but you can let everyone else know !!!

you may be able to set in each client a diferant push to talk button so you can talk to only 1 chanel at a time ???? worth a try !!!!

I tried it and it didn't work. Since Teamspeak doesn't save it's server data in the same directory where it's installed to i already presumed it'd be like that.

What a pity cuz I also feel the need to connect to two TS Servers because of my two clans.
Friends of mine solved this problem by using TS and Ventrilo at the same time but I hope TS supports connecting to two servers in future, because i like TS more.

Install multiple instances of the client on your PC in to different directories. i.e. C:\TS1 and C:\TS2. Set each instance with a different button for talking. This worked for me. I have connected to two different servers as well as being logged on to the same server in different rooms (With different login names BTW). It does get extremly choppy, but it is the only way I know. (Done with XP Pro)

You can also install TS client on two different computers, share the directory out and make sure that you set the folder permission to FC or R+W and execute. Then go to the share and execute the TS Client executable. (This only worked for me with Server2K and XP Pro on the same network. Once I upgraded to Server2K3 I have been unable to do this).
