Hi there,
Since I can't email or PM any of the devs, here is a list of some suggestions for your next installment of TS3.
For a framework that is cross-platform (Linux, Windows, Mac) I highly suggest getting the Qt toolkit by Trolltech (link at the bottom) which makes developing multiplatform applications a breeze. This should make the development process smoother overall and allow for some flexibility in the programming itself.
One of the biggest (and only) complaints about TeamSpeak is the fact it uses compressed codecs which is what makes it so bandwidth friendly (and notoriously metallic sound quality). However, in your next edition makesure to include the larger editions of the Speex codec (Speex-Wideband) and optionally some other codecs like TrueSpeech for instance to broaden the range of choices.
Keep up the good work with teamspeak. I have always been a teamspeak supporter and like many others, cannot wait for the next edition to hit the streets.
Here are some links for stuff to checkout.
Trolltech (Qt Toolkit, be sure to checkout their trial first and maybe pickup the book about programming with it) - http://www.trolltech.com/
DSP Group (Makers of TrueSpeech audio codec) - http://www.dspg.com/technology/truespeech_compression.html
