What is the optimum size for the Banner?
Users can resize the window to fit it, but that is very difficult to match the size exactly.

Which X/Y dimensions should the .jpg be? or should it be greater than/equal to/lesser than?

I want to know too..... My banner works (thank you very much for this thread! ).. but it stretches with the window size distorting the .JPG

Standard fullsize banner format (468 x 60 px) works well for me.

I myself, ended up w. a Banner size of 231x80...looks pretty neat too :)

max size i think is 300 long X 150 high and is what i use so i know it works ! and i have tryed 151 and it did not work !!!
