My setup:
* dual boot laptop (Linux 2.6.6 and winXP)
* 2 internet connections:
- 100Mbit direct connection
- 11mbit wireless connection through masquerading firewall
(ok, don't be jealous of my connection ;))
my problem:
ts2 linux client connects fine to ts2 linux server through direct connection
ts2 windows client connects fine to the same server on both (!) connections
--> ts2 linux client refuses to connect through the firewall
I have control over the firewall and am sure it allows outbound 8767 udp (in fact it allows any outbound connection right now). the fact that the windows client connects just fine leads me to believe this is not the problem.
the linux ts2 clients will not connect and in fact just freezes entirely, at least for a couple of minutes (never waited longer).
any suggestions?
