Dear All,

I am new to teamspeak. I just downloaded the client and server software (win 32). After configuring the server and making sure my port 8767 is forwarded from my router to my computer (and the firewall removed) , I still can't manage to log on to the created server. i get the message serve offline or server not running teamspeak. Any idea of what i am doing wrong. Many thanks in advance.

try adding your ip address to the *boundip=* line in your server.ini file which also goes by just *server* , in your TS server folder

try 127.0.0.1:8767 as the address

Ummmm... what Schrecken says is kind of ambigous.

Applied to the server and *boundtoip* it would mean users can only connect locally, that is from the very same PC the server runs on. Not a good idea. Besides, this is a place for an IP address only so you'd have to drop the port number.

Applied to the client that's a very good idea IF the client runs on the same physical machine the server runs on :)
