I've heard talk about a telephone with USB connection that can be used with Skype. I think it would show up like any other USB sound source and thus should be able to work with Teamspeak as well. However you probably won't be able to use the buttons on the phone unless they can be bound to keypresses.

Skype and Teamspeak are based on different architectures and are made for different use cases.

Skype employs peer-to-peer architecture and is NAT-transient. Its goal is to provide easy to use internet telephony.

Teamspeak is based on "traditional" client-server architecture and is definitely not NAT-transient regarding the server component. Its goal is to provide cheap (in terms of CPU power and network bandwidth usage) voice communication for online games.

I use Skype when I need hands-free communication and have to walk around in my appartment and I use Teamspeak when I need in-game voice communication that doesn't clog my internet connection and doesn't make my game run jerkily.

I also had for a time Skype and now i have VoIP and i can say it is much better :)
And in the Gams i have no Problems with a good VoIP Program.
And if i want i can also make peer-to-peer communication and change codecs an i have also a Messenger in my VoIP Program oohh yes and WebCam ;)

Wow, VoIP must be way better than Skype or Teamspeak.

And my mobile is better than your fax.

Explain to me how TeamSpeak is not Voice over IP? TS transports voice data over an IP transport. VoIP is not peer-to-peer in a typical implementation - there are still intelligent "call" routing devices in between the two parties. If you want to discuss QoS, nothing prevents you from implementing QoS at your firewalls or routers for TS.

p.s. Still looking to see if anyone has a device, software or system for interfacing TS with POTS or PBX.

One could probably make a crude implmentation utilizing one of these, a PBX and some other goodies http://store.voxilla.com/customer/product.php?productid=16137&cat=252&page=1

Either way I dont see why you would want to connect TS onto a POTS systen
