View Full Version : Installing on Redhat 9 - huge fonts

I'm trying to install the client on a new Redhat 9 box. I have some experience with RH9 servers but this is my first go at using a GUI (Gnome).

I unpacked the client into /home/myname/ts2_client_rc2_2032. When I try to run setup.sh I get the window "Welcome to the TeamSpeak 2 RC2 setup wizard", but the fonts in the window are so huge that I can't read anything else. I can only see bits of words.

Also, it locks up - I can't exit. At one stage I did manage to install the client, but the client appeared to be just the same. I think it was running but all I could see was a couple of half letters.

FWIW, I managed to install the server on another RH9 box and that's working great (that box doesn't have a GUI). I've also got the client running on a couple of WinXP boxes.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Don't worry - I sorted it. Apparently it's a bug with RH9 (or at least a common problem). I had to change my DPI to millimetres. Why? God knows.
