Ok, here is the problem I'm having, I can hear when i log in, the wonderful voice that tells me "Link engaged" and when i leave, but I can't hear anyone talking to me, I've made sure that nothing is muted, also they can hear me. My headset works fine tho, it was just one day the sound coming in from my friend cut out and didn't come back. I've tried reinstalling TS Client, I've tried installing my own server, nothing changes. Please help if you can.

Why go there when sound notifications are the only thing working?
Perhaps something just killed your sound driver. (Yes, this is possible.) How to solve this? Well, simply go to your soundcard manufacturers website and download a new driver for your card. Install it, make sure you are using the latest directX version and try again.
In addition it would be very useful to see your client log of the day this happened. It might contain useful information about this issue.
If you don't know where to find your client log: it's inside your TeamSpeak directory.

Try checking your comps sound setting. Do you have a in-line control on your headset?, Might have muted by mistake.
