I'm Have a 24/7 TS server running on my PC server down in my basement (an old Dell-P90 with no more than W98SE and OE5.0)
The problem is that sometimes the connection can end suddenly... (all whitin a few seconds, according to my connection log) Verry irritating during matches...
I dont know if this has got something to do with my router, witch is configured to redirect the 8765/8766 ports to this PC...

The strange thing is that it never occured when I'm logged in myself. Only when it is used by my teammates.
Enyone a sollution?

MrGreen

Duhh... Most logical would be to log in and not use TS myself. But Can't I have a break, away from home sometimes...??

Yeah i've got the same problem. I've got a router too
Everything works fine but something i don't hear anything. If i try to go to other channel it says "link closed".
It's very annoying like you said

@MrGreen you could always run a client on the computer that is also running the server and connect that client to the server. Thats not the best solution but it might help.

There are certain issues with TS1 and certain kind of routers. It seems that the udp traffic of TS1 can fall pray to a timeout on certain routers. This issue has been solved in TS2 though.

Yet TS1 doesnt get developed any further. If you cant find a way around the disconnects you will have to use TS2 instead.
